Produced by Penelope Bourbon in the United States, this special-edition whiskey is a blend of straight whiskeys aged approximately 4-6 years, bottled at 116 proof (58% ABV). The mash bill is reported at 42% corn / 37% rye / 21% malted barley, and the blend is crafted to provide intense flavor while supporting cancer-awareness initiatives. Every bottle contributes to the cause and honours those impacted by the disease.
Nose: Warm and inviting — notes of chocolate-chip raisin bread, caramel syrup, brown sugar, hints of chili-powder spice and subtle barrel char.
Palate: Creamy and layered — first impressions of butterscotch and black cherry, followed by cocoa powder, orange-zest brightness, roasted oak and a whisper of butterscotch crème brûlée.
Finish: Long and oily — sweet rye-bread fruitiness and citrus peel fade into seasoned oak and warm spice, leaving a lingering impression of richness and resilience.
