The Domaine J. A. Ferret 2022 Pouilly-Fuissé Tête de Cru Clos de Jeanne 1er Cru is a beautifully refined White Burgundy that captures the elegance and mineral precision of the Mâconnais at its highest level. Polished yet vibrant, it delivers layered orchard fruit, citrus, and subtle oak framed by fresh acidity and a stony finish. Crafted from a prized single parcel and elevated to Premier Cru status, this wine offers collectors and Burgundy enthusiasts a sophisticated, terroir-driven Chardonnay with both immediate charm and aging potential.
Origins & Craftsmanship
Domaine J. A. Ferret is one of the historic reference estates of Pouilly-Fuissé in Burgundy’s Mâconnais, with vineyards surrounding the village of Fuissé. The domaine was founded in the mid-19th century and has long been regarded as one of the region’s benchmark producers. In 2008 the estate was acquired by Maison Louis Jadot, which continues to operate it as a distinct domaine while preserving its vineyard-focused philosophy.
This careful élevage creates a Chardonnay that combines richness and structure with the lifted minerality typical of the best Pouilly-Fuissé vineyards.
