This two-bottle collection brings together Abraham Smith Bowman Cask Strength Bourbon Batch #5 and Buffalo Trace O.F.C. Vintage 2006—two limited American bourbons whose appeal comes from very different places.
Abraham Bowman delivers concentrated cask-strength intensity, while O.F.C. showcases what happens when Buffalo Trace bourbon is given approximately 18 years of maturation. Together, they create a serious collector pairing built around rarity, proof, age, and provenance.
The Abraham Bowman series sits at the experimental, highly limited end of A. Smith Bowman Distillery’s portfolio. Batch #5 presents the whiskey at cask strength, preserving the concentration and individuality that make these small releases so sought after.
Produced in Virginia by the distillery behind John J. Bowman Single Barrel, Abraham Bowman releases are produced in very limited quantities and have developed a dedicated following among serious American whiskey collectors.
Look for: Dark caramel, concentrated fruit, vanilla, baking spice, charred oak, and a powerful, lingering finish.
Why it belongs: Abraham Bowman provides the muscle of the collection—a scarce, high-proof bourbon intended to be experienced with its full cask character intact.
O.F.C. Vintage 2006 sits at the opposite end of the experience. Named for the historic Old Fashioned Copper Distillery, founded in 1870, the O.F.C. series is one of Buffalo Trace’s most prestigious vintage-dated bourbon programs.
Distilled in 2006 and matured for approximately 18 years, this release combines exceptional age with an elaborate collector presentation.
Look for: Deep caramel, dark cherry, vanilla, tobacco, leather, baking spice, and extensively seasoned oak.
Why it belongs: Few Buffalo Trace releases offer this combination of vintage designation, extended age, scarcity, and presentation. It serves as the mature, polished counterpoint to Abraham Bowman’s cask-strength power.
These bottles offer two dramatically different expressions of premium American bourbon.
Abraham Bowman Batch #5 is about intensity—limited production, cask strength, and concentrated flavor.
O.F.C. Vintage 2006 is about time—nearly two decades of maturation wrapped in one of Buffalo Trace’s most collectible presentations.
Taste them together and the contrast becomes the experience: cask-strength power versus ultra-aged refinement. Keep them closed and you have two genuinely scarce bottles with substantial collector appeal.
Bottle Size: All bottles are 750ML/700ML unless otherwise noted.
21 and Over: Adult Signature Required
