Angel’s Envy Cellar Collection Volume 5 is a trailblazing rye whiskey that redefines cask finishing. This limited-edition release marries 7-year-old rye with 11-year-old rye, then finishes the blend for up to 12 months in French oak barrels previously used to age Patrón Extra Añejo tequila .
Bottled at 104.2 proof (52.1% ABV), it opens with floral aromas, fruit-forward notes, toasty vanilla, and a hint of smoky clove. The palate delivers baking spices, cracked black pepper, herbal agave, earthy tobacco, and brown sugar, culminating in a smooth, balanced finish with orange blossom honey, tropical fruit, and lingering French oak warmth .
