PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Beluga Allure was released as a genuine tribute to Beluga's own internationally successful polo team — the brand's sporting achievements celebrated directly through the bottle itself, wrapped in genuine brown leather secured with tiny gold buckles, a design meant to project real luxury and nobility from the moment it's picked up. Beluga itself traces back to 2002, when the first 38 bottles rolled off the production line at the Mariinsk Distillery in Siberia. In October 2022, the international rights to the Beluga brand were sold to Noblewood Group in a transaction estimated at over $75 million, and by March 2023, Noblewood officially began production for international markets in Montenegro, continuing the same recipe and production philosophy the brand built its reputation on.
Allure is crafted from fine malt spirit and pure artesian water, undergoing genuinely meticulous filtration — washed through quartz sand, triple-filtered through graphite columns, then percolated slowly through quartz sand once more, followed by a further pass through a 10.5-meter birch charcoal column filter. What genuinely sets Allure apart from Beluga's standard expression is the addition of small amounts of fig extract and maple syrup after filtration, added in the traditional European style where subtle, distinctive ingredients shape each individual vodka's character. Before bottling, Allure rests a full 60 days — a genuinely uncommon commitment at any price tier, allowing the spirit's molecular components to stabilize into a smoother, more velvety mouthfeel.
Chip Dykstra's independent review for The Rum Howler Blog scored the vodka 91.5/100, finding it went "down smoothly," with "a touch of spicy warmth tapping" the tonsils, followed by "a creeping warmth" moving "up from my stomach towards my throat," describing "a light sweetness, hints of grainy spiciness, and a light balsam or lemon flavour," with just "a light bit of bitterness in the aftertaste" that he speculated might be "a remnant of the fig extract." Wine.com's own tasting found the aroma "mostly neutral, with a faint whiff of almond," the "featherlight palate" showing "hints of charcoal and white and black pepper sparks." The Liquor Barn's extended tasting adds "delicate notes of vanilla, wheat, and honey" emerging at mid-palate, "with the fig extract and maple syrup adding a barely perceptible layer of sweetness that rounds rather than dominates," describing the texture as "notably silky," the finish "medium in length and exceptionally clean, with lingering traces of warm bread and a whisper of pepper." This is genuinely refined, meticulously produced vodka — real luxury craftsmanship in both the liquid and the striking leather-and-gold presentation it arrives in.
Beluga Allure Noble Vodka is produced under the Beluga brand, originally established at the Mariinsk Distillery in Siberia, Russia, with the first batch produced in 2002. Following the October 2022 sale of international brand rights to Noblewood Group, production for international markets shifted to Montenegro beginning in March 2023.
Allure is crafted from fine malt spirit and pure artesian water, undergoing washing through quartz sand, triple filtration through graphite columns, a further pass through quartz sand, and filtration through a 10.5-meter birch charcoal column. Small amounts of fig extract and maple syrup are added following filtration, and the finished vodka rests 60 days before bottling. The bottle is wrapped in genuine leather, secured with small gold buckles. Released to commemorate Beluga's internationally successful polo team. Bottled at 40% ABV / 80 proof, 750ml.
Chip Dykstra ("Arctic Wolf"), The Rum Howler Blog — 91.5/100 (June 18, 2013):
"As I expected (based upon my experiences with the rest of the Beluga Line-up) the vodka went down smoothly. There was a touch of spicy warmth tapping my tonsils, and after I swallowed, a creeping warmth moved up from my stomach towards my throat. The Vodka carried a light sweetness, hints of grainy spiciness, and a light balsam or lemon flavour. The only deterrent is a light bit of bitterness in the aftertaste. I wonder if this a remnant of the fig extract leaving a light imprint upon the ending of the taste experience?"
Wine.com (official tasting note):
"The aroma is mostly neutral, with a faint whiff of almond. The featherlight palate shows hints of charcoal and white and black pepper sparks."
The Liquor Barn (extended tasting note):
"On entry, the palate is featherlight, revealing hints of charcoal and a flicker of white and black pepper. Mid-palate, delicate notes of vanilla, wheat, and honey emerge, with the fig extract and maple syrup adding a barely perceptible layer of sweetness that rounds rather than dominates. The texture is notably silky, a direct result of the extended resting period. The finish is medium in length and exceptionally clean, with lingering traces of warm bread and a whisper of pepper. There is no harshness — just a smooth, gently fading warmth."
