"A few years back, we planted a new block of Merlot in our celebrated Marinus Vineyard in the Cachagua region of Carmel Valley. We now have enough to continue including some Merlot in our Marinus Bordeaux-style blend, as well as some for a small production on its own. It’s already a roaring success and we are certain you will love it, too!

In the glass you will see a wine of deep crimson red. The aromas show bright dark red fruit scents with subtle spice notes. The palate is very rich and soft, with flavors of dried cherries and cranberries, accented with hints of chocolate. The delicious flavors linger beautifully on the long, powerful finish.
