Glenallachie distillery is known for it’s fruity nature. This bottling displays the fruitiness that you would expect alongside a hint of spice. Distilled in 2014 and matured exclusively in bourbon barrels, this expression offers a harmonious blend of orchard fruits and subtle spice. With walnuts and gorse on the nose, this dram develops with notes of white grapes, orchard fruits and stem ginger.
Glenallachie-Glenlivet Information
(The) GlenAllachie distillery is a Speyside, single malt whisky distillery at Aberlour founded in 1967, which sits at the foot of Ben Rinnes. The first run began the following year.
The distillery is now owned and managed by Billy Walker, a well known name within the industry and they released their first every range of single malts in 2018 - having previously been used to create premium blends.
46% ABV, 750 ml
