Clase AzulSpirit of Champions Joven Tequila is an ultra-rare, collectible luxury tequila created to celebrate championship-level achievement and the spirit of victory. Presented in an ornate, hand-crafted decanter worthy of a trophy, this release represents the pinnacle of Clase Azul’s philosophy: exceptional tequila paired with extraordinary Mexican artistry. Rich, mature, and deeply complex, Spirit of Champions delivers layered agave sweetness, caramelized oak, spice, and dried fruit in a spirit designed not just for drinking, but for commemorating extraordinary moments.

Origins & Craftsmanship

Clase Azul México was founded in 1997 by Arturo Lomelí in Guadalajara, Jalisco, with the goal of creating tequila that honors both Mexican distillation traditions and the country’s rich artistic heritage.

All Clase Azul tequilas begin with 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the highlands of Jalisco, a region known for producing agave with high sugar concentration and expressive flavor.

The production process follows traditional tequila-making methods:

• Mature agave plants are harvested after 6–8 years of growth.
• The agave piñas are slow-cooked in masonry ovens for roughly 72 hours, converting complex starches into fermentable sugars.
• The cooked agave is fermented and distilled in copper pot stills, preserving aromatic richness and agave purity.
• The joven tequila for this edition is certified kosher by OK Kosher
• 10,000 bottles produced of this limited edition

For this edition, the Clase Azul  Master Distiller, Viridiana Tinoco, has expertly curated a remarkable joven blend. Predominantly composed of tequila aged for 28 months in French wooden vats from the Forest of Tronçais, it is lightly accented with a dash of a specially crafted unaged tequila. The fine grain and light toast of the vats have allowed the spirit to evolve slowly, revealing a uniquely captivating and aromatic profile.

THE DECANTER

Unglazed bands wrap around the ceramic decanter of this edition, creating a tactile contrast that naturally invites the hands, encouraging it to be lifted in the spirit of triumph it represents. Golden ribbons trace a refined silhouette that nods to the iconic trophy that inspires it, while flowing bands at the base honor the unity of its three host nations. Finished in smooth satin white, the piece blends a streamlined, contemporary design with purposeful symbolism.

At its center, the Clase Azul emblem shines with inlays of green malachite, a subtle detail that echoes the stone encircling the base of soccer’s most iconic prize.The Spirit of Champions decanter is designed to resemble a ceremonial trophy, symbolizing achievement and celebration—reinforcing the idea that the bottle itself is as much a work of art as the tequila inside.
