"When we began our wood experiments, one forest stood out from the rest. Jupilles became a French royal forest in the 14th century and then a national forest in 1791. This small but ancient forest is known for its tight-grain oak. Fine wine makers in France and around the world have been curating Jupilles oak for centuries. Our master alchemists worked to create a custom toast profile to match our high-rye bourbon profile. The combination is exquisite, approachable and drinkable.

We take high rye bourbon that is at least 6 years old and add custom toasted French Oak Staves for the last few months of aging to impart natural wood flavors of soft, sweet warm notes that play off of the underlying spice of the base bourbon. The layers of complexity on the nose are sure to arouse your palate and please a crowd of bourbon enthusiasts."
