PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Doc Swinson's has built a genuine reputation on one guiding idea: take a solid MGP bourbon base — Jesse Parker's own dual high-rye mash bill blend, roughly 60% corn/36% rye/4% malted barley alongside 75% corn/21% rye/4% malted barley — and see what happens when it's finished in casks no other bourbon producer would think to use. This collection brings together seven of the brand's most distinctive results, from local Pacific Northwest oak to a French aperitif wine cask, an Extra Añejo tequila finish, and the brand's own flagship triple-cask blend bottled at genuine cask strength. Every release is a highly limited small batch, and the brand's finishing techniques have earned real accolades at the New York International Spirits Competition, the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and the SIP Awards.
Doc Swinson's La Mente
The whiskey that started it all — Doc Swinson's very first barrel-finished expression. A 5-year bourbon finished in genuine Oloroso sherry butts, delivering maple syrup, dark chocolate, dried apricot, and roasted nuts.
Doc Swinson's Dos Padres
A genuinely rare finish: bourbon rested in casks that previously aged Extra Añejo tequila. Melon, tangerine, white pepper, and soft leather, closing with real agave syrup sweetness.
Doc Swinson's Garryana
Finished in rare, locally sourced Garryana (Oregon oak) casks, found growing right in the backyard of Doc Swinson's own aging warehouse. Molasses, clove, cocoa, and a hint of Kansas City barbecue smoke.
Doc Swinson's French Toasted
The first release in Doc Swinson's double-oak line, finished in new French oak from the famed Taransaud Cooperages, seasoned a minimum of 36 months. Dark chocolate, stone fruit, vanilla, and clove.
Doc Swinson's Fruit Odyssey
Aged six full years, then finished in ex-Ruby Port casks. A genuinely fruit-forward journey — raspberry, white peach, plum, honey, and toasted oak.
Doc Swinson's Pineau des Charentes
Believed to be the first bourbon ever finished in genuine French Pineau des Charentes casks. Golden apple, fig jam, wine-soaked sultana, and wildflower honey.
Doc Swinson's Alter Ego High Proof Triple Cask
The brand's flagship blend, bottled at a bold 114.6 proof — the same whiskey behind La Mente and El Cuerpo, married together in ex-Cognac Foeders. Cracker Jacks, caramel, nut brittle, and dark cherry.
