Hailing from the historic estate of Dr. Pauly‑Bergweiler in Bernkastel-Kues on the Middle Mosel, this wine is crafted from estate-grown Riesling grapes planted on steep, slate-rich slopes. The term trocken signifies a fully dry style. The cold-climate of the Mosel, combined with the steep terraces and blue-grey Devonian slate soils, imbues the wine with crisp acidity, minerality and site-specific elegance. The vineyard practices emphasise low yields and careful ripening, while the vinification is clean and disciplined to highlight varietal purity and terroir texture.
Nose: Bright and refreshing—lime zest, green apple, pear skin and a whisper of fresh white blossom for elegance. A subtle flint-and-slate mineral note underscores the aromatics.
