Riley Green built his career on the kind of authenticity that's hard to manufacture — a lifelong outdoorsman before he was ever a country music star, the guy his own fans nicknamed "The Duckman" long before he had a bourbon to put his name on. When Memphis-based Morningside Brands partnered with him to launch Duck Club in November 2025, the goal was explicit: build a bourbon rooted in transparency, authenticity, and genuine respect for the land — no shortcuts, no gimmicks, and no mistaking where it comes from. "Duck Club Bourbon represents exactly what today's bourbon drinker is looking for: authenticity, heritage, and whiskey quality at an incredible value," said McCauley Williams, CEO of Morningside Brands. "By partnering with Riley Green, whose voice and values resonate so strongly not only with us, but also with the bourbon consumer, we're building a brand that is crafted to have true staying power in the marketplace."
The bourbon itself is a genuine four-grain blend, not a marketing simplification: 88% five-year-old Kentucky bourbon from Clermont, distilled from a mashbill of 67% corn, 23% rye, and 10% malted barley, combined with 12% six-year-old wheated bourbon from MGP's Lawrenceburg, Indiana facility, distilled from 51% corn, 45% wheat, and 4% malted barley — two genuinely distinct whiskey traditions brought together in a single bottle. Forbes' Brad Japhe found "maple syrup like aromas and a palate of brown sugar and toasted oak all layered atop a silky soft mouthfeel," noting the whiskey offers "the depth and soulfulness you'd associate with $60-$70 bottles" despite its considerably more accessible price point. It earned a Gold Medal at the Ascot Awards, a genuinely credible validation for a debut release from a brand-new label.
And the reach behind this bottle is genuinely significant. Riley Green brings more than 3 million engaged Instagram followers directly to the shelf — and in 2026 alone, he's headlining a stadium tour, starring in the new Yellowstone spinoff on CBS, and serving as a judge on The Voice on NBC. Every bottle sold also supports the protection of North America's vital wetlands, tying the brand's commercial success directly to the conservation of the very landscapes and traditions — waterfowl hunting, early mornings in the blind, fellowship around a fire — that inspired it in the first place. This is bourbon built for people who feel at home in the wild, backed by a country star whose own life has been spent in exactly that world.
Duck Club Bourbon was launched in November 2025 by Memphis, Tennessee-based Morningside Brands, in partnership with country music star and co-founder Riley Green, with The Silent Group playing a key role in developing the whiskey itself and facilitating the partnership. The brand entered the market with two expressions: the flagship Duck Club Bourbon at 92 proof and a higher-proof sibling, High Brass, at 110 proof. Duck Club launched at retail across Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas, with direct-to-consumer shipping available to 42 states and a larger national retail expansion planned for 2026.
The flagship Duck Club Bourbon is a four-grain blend combining two distinct straight bourbons: 88% five-year-old Kentucky bourbon distilled in Clermont, Kentucky, from a mashbill of 67% corn, 23% rye, and 10% malted barley, and 12% six-year-old wheated bourbon distilled at MGP's facility in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, from a mashbill of 51% corn, 45% wheat, and 4% malted barley. Bottled at 46% ABV / 92 proof. The brand's identity is built specifically around the heritage of waterfowl hunting, and every bottle sold supports the protection of North American wetlands, directly connecting the brand's commercial success to the conservation of the landscapes central to its founding story.

Brad Japhe, Forbes:
"The 92-proof flagship is a four grain blend featuring maple syrup like aromas and a palate of brown sugar and toasted oak all layered atop a silky soft mouthfeel. Both offer the depth and soulfulness you'd associate with $60-$70 bottles. And yet here they are offered at $30."
McCauley Williams, CEO, Morningside Brands:
"Duck Club Bourbon represents exactly what today's bourbon drinker is looking for: authenticity, heritage, and whiskey quality at an incredible value. By partnering with Riley Green, whose voice and values resonate so strongly not only with us, but also with the bourbon consumer, we're building a brand that is crafted to have true staying power in the marketplace."
Whiskey Social (extended tasting note):
"Crafted as a 4-grain blend of straight bourbons, Duck Club 92 Proof is designed for everyday sipping. It's built around 5-6 year-old whiskey and offers a smooth, approachable pour with a backbone of tradition and craftsmanship."
Duck Club Bourbon official:
"Duck Club™ Bourbon is crafted for those who feel at home in the wild. Created in partnership with country music star Riley Green, this 4-grain straight bourbon honors the traditions of waterfowl hunting, the spirit of early mornings in the blind, and the fellowship shared around a fire. Rooted in transparency, authenticity, and respect for the land, Duck Club™ Bourbon blends two distinct straight bourbons into one bold, flavorful expression — made for hunters, storytellers, and anyone who appreciates the timeless call of the wild."
Nose
Maple syrup-like sweetness leads immediately, joined by warm brown sugar and toasted oak — the combined character of the five-year Kentucky base and the six-year wheated Indiana component working in genuine harmony.
Palate
Silky and soft on entry, with brown sugar and toasted oak carrying through from the nose. The wheated bourbon component contributes gentle roundness and approachability, while the higher-rye Kentucky base provides underlying structure and depth — a smooth, everyday-sipping profile built for genuine accessibility without sacrificing real character.
Finish
Smooth and approachable, with a backbone of tradition and craftsmanship carrying through the close. A finish that reviewers have specifically compared favorably to bourbons priced well above Duck Club's own accessible point.
