Dulce Vida Ocho Años Extra Añejo Tequila is a rare, high-proof expression aged for eight years, crafted from 100% organic Blue Weber agave sourced from the Los Altos Highlands of Jalisco. Distilled at 100 proof (50% ABV), this tequila is matured in American oak barrels that previously held Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot wines, imparting a deep amber-saffron hue and a rich, complex flavor profile.
On the nose, it offers inviting aromas of dried fruits, toasted oak, vanilla, and hints of dark chocolate and spice. The palate is luxurious and smooth, featuring notes of caramel, honey, butterscotch, toasted almonds, and a touch of cinnamon, with the influence of the wine barrels adding hints of dark fruit like blackberries and plums. The finish is long and elegant, leaving lingering flavors of oak, vanilla, and gentle spice.
