Feudi di San Gregorio was established in 1986 and is situated in the village of Sorbo Serpico in Campania’s Irpinia region, producing contemporary styles of local indigenous grapes. This 2013 Greco di Tufo bianco was fermented and aged in stainless steel on lees, offering a ripe bouquet of white peach, pears and apricots with a subtle, fresh complexity of mint and fern. The palate is lively and mineral making this a lovely white to pair with fresh fish and white meat dishes.
"The 2013 Greco di Tufo is a well-priced expression of the grape with fruit sourced in three sites: Santa Paolina, Tufo and Torrioni. Vines are planted up to 700 meters above sea level and are 20 years old. This mineral driven white is ripe with yellow flower, apricot, flint, crushed granite and white pepper. It's a very drinkable wine with fresh endnotes of grapefruit and lime." Robert Parker 90 Points
