Feudi di San Gregorio “San Greg” 2024 Rosato is a beautifully balanced expression of Aglianico in rosé form. It offers a polished, food-friendly profile with floral and citrus aromatics, juicy red fruit, and savory-mineral undertones—all supported by crisp acidity and elegant structure. Highly rated by wine critics, it’s a sophisticated yet approachable rosé that's perfect for summer sipping—especially during aperitif hour.
Color: A clear, pale salmon-pink with vibrant reflections. Turned glass-on-glass elegant.
Nose: Floral-forward—hibiscus, fresh flowers, and blood orange—alongside red berries, wild strawberries, raspberries, and a hint of citrus zest.
Body & Texture: Medium-bodied yet light on its feet, with crisp, lively acidity and a clean, persistent finish.
Flavors: A red-fruited medley—cherry, berry, strawberry—plexed with citrus (blood orange, lemon zest), subtle tartness, and savory nuances like thyme and saline lanolin.
Grape & Site: 100% Aglianico from high-altitude Irpinia (~700 m) on marly-limestone soils.
Vinification: Whole-cluster pressed with zero skin contact, fermented and matured in stainless steel for four months, preserving freshness and purity of fruit.
