The Fox & Oden Bourbon + Single Malt & Hillrock PX Cask Bundle brings together two distinctive releases from Fox & Oden by Jos. A. Magnus with Hillrock’s Solera Aged Bourbon finished in Pedro Ximénez casks. You get classic bourbon richness, malt-driven complexity, and a decadent sherry-finished bourbon in one tasting set.
A polished American bourbon from the team behind Jos. A. Magnus, built around the classic combination of mature oak, rich sweetness, and warming spice.
Look for: Caramel, vanilla, dark cherry, brown sugar, toasted nuts, cocoa, cinnamon, and seasoned oak.
Why it belongs: The classic bourbon foundation of the trio, giving you a benchmark against which the other two more unusual whiskeys can be tasted.
Fox & Oden moves beyond bourbon with an American Single Malt, putting malted barley rather than corn at the center of the whiskey. The result shifts toward toasted grain, honey, orchard fruit, and cocoa while retaining the richness American whiskey drinkers will recognize.
Look for: Honey, vanilla, orchard fruit, caramel, toasted malt, cocoa, dried fruit, and warm spice.
Why it belongs: It completely changes the grain profile of the tasting and shows another side of American whiskey from Fox & Oden.
Hillrock combines its distinctive Solera aging process with a finish in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. PX is famous for its intensely rich dried-fruit character, adding another dimension to the bourbon’s caramel, vanilla, and oak.
Look for: Raisins, figs, dark cherry, caramel, vanilla, chocolate, toasted oak, and baking spice.
Why it belongs: This is the dessert-like finale of the trio, with the PX finish delivering the richest and darkest flavor profile in the bundle.
