Crafted at The Glenlivet distillery in Speyside, this no-age-statement single malt begins life in traditional oak casks before being finished in Caribbean rum barrels, which infuse layers of tropical fruit and soft brown-sugar sweetness.
This finish adds a new dimension to Glenlivet’s naturally fruit-forward spirit, emphasizing ripe orchard fruit and a mellow sweetness reminiscent of molasses and tropical zest. Bottled at 40% ABV, the whisky maintains balance and smoothness while highlighting the rum-cask influence.
Nose: Lively and fragrant—ripe pear, red apple, and banana cream mingle with vanilla and light caramel. A touch of toasted oak and honey adds warmth.
Palate: Soft and rounded. Toffee, golden syrup, and tropical fruit—especially pineapple and mango—lead the way, complemented by citrus peel and gentle oak spice.
Finish: Smooth and mildly sweet. Notes of vanilla fudge, light rum, and lingering fruit sweetness fade into soft spice and malt.
