Origins & Craftsmanship

Crafted by Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyards in the famed Carneros AVA of Sonoma County, this 2015 vintage comes from estate-grown grapes in a cooler climate ideal for high-quality sparkling wine. The cuvée is a blend of primarily Pinot Noir with Chardonnay, made using the traditional method (méthode champenoise) with extended aging on the lees to develop depth, complexity and fine mousse. The Royal Cuvée line represents the house’s premier vintage offering, selected only in years of exceptional quality.

Tasting Profile

Nose: Elegant and inviting—with green apple, pear, lemon zest and hints of toasted brioche and almond arising from the extended lees aging.
Palate: Creamy and layered—ripe orchard fruits, yellow apple and white peach carry through into a beautifully textured mid-palate where subtle brioche, light spice and fine mineral tones emerge. The mousse is fine and persistent, giving weight and luxury without heaviness.
Finish: A long, polished finish of crisp apple skin, lemon pith, light almond and a whisper of hazelnut toast—balanced acidity keeps the wine lively and fresh even as richness remains.
