PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Jack Daniel’s 14-Year-Old Tennessee Whiskey Batch 1 is a landmark release—the oldest age-stated expression from the distillery in over a century. Part of the Aged Series, this limited-edition whiskey is bottled at a robust 126.3 proof (63.15% ABV) and showcases the classic Jack Daniel’s mash bill of 80% corn, 12% malted barley, and 8% rye. The whiskey undergoes the traditional Lincoln County Process, mellowed drop by drop through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal, before aging in new charred oak barrels.
The barrels for this expression spent time in the upper floors of the barrelhouse to develop intensity, then were moved to the lower ricks to extend maturation and balance the flavor profile.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Sweet bakery spices, toasted oak, and hints of cinnamon.
