Origins & Craftsmanship
Produced at La Rojeña, the oldest active distillery in Tequila, Jalisco, Reserva de la Familia is drawn from the Cuervo family’s private stocks. Only hand-selected, estate-grown blue Weber agave—harvested after 7 to 12 years—is used. After traditional roasting, fermentation, and double distillation, the tequila is aged for a minimum of three years in a combination of new American oak and French oak barrels, each charred to specific levels for balance and complexity. Bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof), the 2023 edition features a collector’s box and label designed by the Tercerunquinto Collective, titled “Structuring a Landscape”—a celebration of heritage, environment, and art.

• Nose: Deep aromas of toasted oak, caramelized agave, warm vanilla bean, and roasted nuts, followed by hints of dried fig, dark cocoa, and gentle baking spice.

• Palate: Silky and full-bodied, showcasing layers of toffee, chocolate-covered espresso, cinnamon, and clove. The oak influence imparts structure without overshadowing the rich agave core.
