Origins & Craftsmanship
Licor 43 is produced in Cartagena, Spain, by the Zamora Company, a family-owned spirits producer whose history with the liqueur dates back to the mid-20th century. The brand was introduced commercially in 1946 by the Zamora family, inspired by an ancient Roman-era elixir known as Liqvor Mirabilis, said to have been made from local herbs and fruits in the region centuries earlier.
Over the decades, Licor 43 has become one of the world’s most widely distributed liqueurs, now enjoyed in more than 60 countries and widely used in coffee cocktails and dessert-style drinks.
