Sourced entirely from sustainably-farmed vineyards in the Santa Lucia Highlands appellation in California’s Central Coast, the 2022 vintage was marked by dry conditions and a long, cool ripening season, which enhanced concentration and aromatic definition. The vines, planted on granite-rich, well-drained slopes, were harvested at optimal phenolic maturity. The grapes were hand-picked, sorted, and fermented in small lots using native yeasts. Maturation took place in neutral French oak barrels, with no fining or filtration, allowing site-specific character to shine through.
