Origins & Craftsmanship
Distilled at the Paul John Distillery in Goa using six-row Indian barley, Nirvana is an un-peated single malt matured in American-oak ex-bourbon barrels under tropical conditions. Bottled at 40% ABV, it features a rich copper hue and captures the vibrant climate-driven maturation of Indian whisky.
Tasting Profile
Nose: Honeycomb sweetness, caramel pudding, fruit-cake richness and vanilla, with subtle salted barley and a light bourbon oak scent.
Palate: Smooth and softly textured; notes of honeyed malt, vanilla bean, ripe apricot, raisin and a suggestion of tropical fruit (pineapple or melon) balanced by mild oak spice.
Finish: Gentle and lingering; honey and vanilla persist with soft malt and a delicate grain-sweetness, leaving a clean, mellow after-taste.
