PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Pavillon de Chavannes 2023 Côte de Brouilly “Cuvée des Ambassades” is a refined Cru Beaujolais that captures the elegance and mineral precision of the slopes of Mont Brouilly. Crafted from old-vine Gamay grown on volcanic granite soils, it offers vibrant red fruit, floral lift, and remarkable balance. Light-to-medium bodied yet deeply expressive, this wine represents the traditional, terroir-driven style of Côte de Brouilly—fresh, aromatic, and beautifully structured.
Origins & Craftsmanship
Domaine du Pavillon de Chavannes is a historic estate located on the slopes of Mont Brouilly in Beaujolais, within the prestigious Côte de Brouilly Cru appellation in southern Burgundy.
This traditional approach emphasizes finesse and terroir rather than heavy extraction.
Critics Reviews
There are no widely published professional critic scores available for the 2023 vintage.
However, respected critics have praised this cuvée in previous vintages. Wine writer Josh Raynolds has described it as one of the most delicate and precise wines produced in Côte de Brouilly.
