Distilled in Haiti by the historic Barbancourt house, this rum is made from 100 % fresh sugar-cane juice (rather than molasses) and distilled using traditional copper stills. It’s bottled at a robust 110 proof (55 % ABV) to preserve maximum character and intensity. The “White Rum” designation indicates minimal aging or none—in this case the distillate remains clear, focusing entirely on the purity of the cane and the skill of distillation rather than barrel flavor.
Nose: A burst of fresh sugar-cane juice, cut grass, lime zest, and chamomile florals. Underneath lies a whisper of eucalyptus or green mint and a clean, light peppery spice that tingles quietly.
Palate: Crisp, energetic, and medium-full. Flavours of raw agave-cart sugar, tart citrus (grapefruit, lime peel), herbal undertones (fresh mint, green tea leaf) lead the way. The peppery heat is present but lively, not aggressive.
