Elegant, precise, and bursting with life, Ridge Lytton Springs Rosé 2024 delivers the hallmark freshness of Ridge craftsmanship in a Rhône-style blend. It’s a wine of texture and tension—vibrant red fruit lifted by stony minerality and a long, mouthwatering finish.
Sourced from Ridge’s organically farmed Lytton Springs Estate in Sonoma’s Dry Creek Valley, this 2024 rosé is a field blend dominated by Grenache (40%), joined by Zinfandel (29%), Cinsaut (14%), Counoise (10%), and Mataro (7%).
Grapes are hand-harvested, whole-cluster pressed, and fermented naturally in 100% stainless steel for purity and freshness. After a brief three-month maturation on fine lees, the wine is bottled without malolactic fermentation, preserving its crystalline acidity and delicate aromatics. The result is an estate-grown rosé that balances California sunshine with classic European poise.
Owen Bargreen (92 points) praised the 2024 release as “gorgeous and vibrant, with aromas of cantaloupe and white peach, a silky texture, and a fabulous interplay of weight, finesse, and salinity.”
Hannah Staab (92 points) described it as “crafted in a Rhône-inspired style, Grenache-dominant and beautifully structured, with ripe strawberry and mineral freshness at a modest 13.2% ABV.”
Erin Brooks (Wine Advocate, 91 points) noted “aromas of peach, guava and raspberry with fresh-herb and spice accents; medium-bodied with juicy acidity and grip for a long, refreshing finish.”
Nose: Pale salmon in hue, it opens with fragrant notes of white peach, rose petal, and orange blossom, accented by hints of guava and wild strawberry.
Palate: Bright and expressive—flavors of ripe raspberry and crushed stone mingle with subtle herbal tones. The texture is silky yet taut, driven by lively acidity.
Finish: Clean and persistent, leaving a delicate impression of citrus zest, saline minerality, and lingering red berry fruit that invites another sip.
