The complex craft creates exciting intricacies with dark cherry, chocolate, dried fruits and sweet oak spice tempered by the extra aging stage in ex-cognac French oak barrels. Our rum is distilled from virgin sugar cane honey, not molasses and aged using an adapted Sistema Solera process that is truly a work of art. Ron Zacapa XO Rum provides an elegantly smooth beverage with robust and complex flavors that are best enjoyed on its own. Simply pour over a large lump of pure, clear ice in a luxury rocks glass for a refreshing tasting drink. Our rum is masterfully crafted in Guatemala. Aged to perfection in the highlands of Quetzaltenango, where Zacapa Rum develops its complex flavor and character. Using a process of patience, richness, quality and master blending, rums of different ages and personalities are blended and matured in a series of casks previously used to store robust American whiskeys, delicate sherries and fine Pedro Ximénez wines. The final result is artisanal rums aged from 6 to 25 years, which create the exciting flavor intricacies that embody the culinary revolution in the spirits world today."
