Crafted at The Dalmore Distillery in the Scottish Highlands, King Alexander III showcases pioneering maturation under Master Distiller Richard Paterson. This extraordinary whisky is the first in the world to employ a six-cask finishing process, integrating spirits from French wine barriques, Madeira drums, Sherry butts, Marsala barrels, Port pipes, and ex-bourbon casks. Each cask contributes a distinct layer—fruit, spice, nuttiness, and sweetness—merged into a singularly rich harmony. The expression honors the 13th-century Scottish legend of King Alexander III, commemorated on the Dalmore emblem with the royal stag’s head granted to the Mackenzie clan.
