TIME : SPACE Sherry Cask marks a genuine milestone in The Macallan's own history — the first single malt ever influenced by oak casks seasoned with the brand's own Valdespino sherry, since Valdespino, the historic Jerez de la Frontera bodega, came under The Macallan's direct ownership. This is the third chapter in the TIME : SPACE Collection overall, following the 200th-anniversary TIME : SPACE and TIME : SPACE Mastery releases. Within the whisky itself, its own maturation follows what The Macallan calls a "second chapter of sherry cask influence" — a genuinely distinctive two-stage journey. The whisky first matured a full 20 years across a remarkable selection of sherry-seasoned oak casks on The Macallan Estate, before being further elevated through a distinctive marrying period in a small selection of the very first 200 sherry casks ever seasoned in The Macallan's own Valdespino bodega in Jerez de la Frontera — casks that carry even greater significance, having arrived at The Macallan in 2024 as part of the brand's 200th anniversary celebrations.

The whisky arrives in the collection's now-signature circular vessel, representing the continuous flow of past, present, and future, with the surrounding presentation box redesigned around Jerez itself — its circular interior echoing the shape of Valdespino's own palomino grapes, its warm golden hue reflecting the Andalusian sun. The official tasting notes describe a nose of "sherry-soaked raisins, figs and medjool dates," complemented by "sweet frangipane, cinder toffee and hints of caramelised nuts," with "dark chocolate truffles" alongside "cinnamon, star anise and ginger." The whisky matured 20 years across a remarkable selection of sherry-seasoned oak casks on The Macallan Estate, then was further elevated through an additional marrying period in a select group of the very first 200 sherry casks ever seasoned in The Macallan's own Valdespino bodega in Jerez de la Frontera — casks that arrived at The Macallan in 2024 as part of its 200th anniversary. Presented in the collection's distinctive circular vessel, with packaging redesigned around Jerez de la Frontera and Valdespino's palomino vineyards. Bottled at 44.8% ABV, natural colour.
