Batch 1 of Ki One is a confident debut: young but expressive, with lots of oak-driven warmth, fruit, and spice. It doesn’t try to hide its youth — instead it wears it like a badge of promise, offering an accessible single malt experience with character.
Produced by Three Societies Distillery / The Ki One Distillery in Namyangju, South Korea.
Uses malted barley and fermented for at least 100 hours in stainless steel. Distilled twice in Forsyths copper pot stills.
Aged exclusively in new (virgin) American oak barrels for about 2 years and 2 months.
No chill filtration, no added coloring. Bottled at 40% ABV.

Whisky reviews note that while the whisky is light-bodied and young, the oak influence is clear and works well with the fruit and spice elements. Some say the texture is a bit thin but the finish compensates with charm.
