Origins & Craftsmanship

Turley Wine Cellars, founded in 1993 by Larry Turley, has become one of the most influential producers of Zinfandel in California, focusing almost exclusively on the grape and on the preservation of historic vineyards.

While Turley’s flagship wines come from old vines often 50–130 years old, the “Juvenile” bottling is made from younger vines replanted within those same historic sites. These vines typically range from about 6 to 25 years old, offering vibrant fruit and freshness compared with the denser, more structured old-vine cuvées.

The wine blends fruit from multiple organically farmed vineyards across California, including sites in regions such as Napa Valley, Sonoma County, Mendocino, Contra Costa, Paso Robles, and Lodi.
