One of Italy's best-selling spirits (and its top brandy), this is distilled from the Trebbiano grape, known as Ugni Blanc in France. Its bold and elegant taste is produced as a result of a double distillation and double ageing process - first in barriques and then oak barrels. On the nose hints of tropical fruit, such as papaya and pineapple, blend with vanilla, cinnamon and cloves. Vanilla and crisp notes are combined with caramelized baked pear. The palate is smooth and round with hints of vanilla, cinnamon, and strong notes of clove.
