This wine certainly delivers the goods with tonic brightness and fresh aromas of stone fruit, papaya, fresh apple and crushed granite or flint. The wine offers an ideal level of flavor intensity that makes it perfect for a heaping plate of spaghetti alle vongole. This is a great value option.
Vesevo is owned by the Gruppo Farnese group and uses the vast talents of consulting winemaker Alberto Antonini to fine tune its cellar efforts. The property includes 4.5 hectares of vines but the total famed (with rented parcels) is 37 hectares. Annual production is 400,000 bottles. Vesuvio offers great quality at competitive prices.
