Moët Hennessy, the wines and spirits division of the LVMH group, has unveiled its first Tequila range. These two expressions of the super-premium Volcan de mi Tierraare a Joint Venture with Mexico's Gallardo family. The range comprises Blanco and Cristalino. Blanco is a blended white Tequila, while Cristalino is an Anejo, aged with different cask finishes and with the colour extracted.
Both expressions are produced at the Volcan distillery in the Mexican Lowlands, at the base of the Tequila volcano. The distillery is being renovated by the joint venture.
Volcan de mi Tierra translates as the "land of the volcano".
