Origins & Craftsmanship

This mezcal is produced in Oaxaca, Mexico, the heartland of artisanal mezcal production, where generations of mezcaleros have perfected traditional methods. The expression marries two agave types:

  • Espadín, prized for its balanced sweetness and high inulin content, which yields depth and smoothness

  • Cuishe, a wild variety known for earthy, savory, and herbal complexity that adds structure and nuance to the spirit
