Origins & Craftsmanship
Bottled by William Cadenhead Ltd., Scotland’s oldest independent bottler, this whisky comes from an undisclosed Highland distillery, true to the “Enigma” range’s mysterious spirit. Distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2024, it matured for 14 years in a mix of 65% refill sherry butts and 35% refill bourbon hogsheads. The sherry influence brings richness and dried-fruit tones, while the bourbon casks add brightness and structure. It is non-chill filtered and naturally coloured, preserving its full body and authentic texture.

• Nose: Smoky and enticing, with aromas of crisp bacon, vanilla custard, banana fritter and butterscotch mousse. Hints of toasted cereal, dried cranberry and barley sweetness lift the aroma.
